Dandong Homestay, located at the western foot of Jinjiang Mountain, consists of three main buildings: memorial tower, exhibition hall and panoramic painting hall. The three-story exhibition hall has 10 exhibition rooms, displaying more than 500 precious photos and more than 1,000 cultural relics, reproducing the grand scene of the war against the United States and aid Korea. It integrates painting, modeling, lighting and sound with modern technology to vividly reflect the historical scene of the "Siege and Destruction War by the Cheong Chon River" that turned the tide of the Korean war. The museum's predecessor was the Preparatory Office of Liaodong Provincial Geography Museum, which was founded in 1953.
