1. Tiger Mountain is located by the bank of the Yalu River, 15 kilometers east of Dandong City. It is an important scenic spot in the national Yalu River Scenic Area, facing the ancient city of Uiju and Yuchian Island of Korea across the river.

 

Tiger Mountain formerly known as Ma 'er Mountain, because of the two side by side towering peaks, like two erect tiger ears, also known as Tiger ears Mountain, to the Qing Dynasty evolved into today's Tiger Mountain, Tiger Mountain protruding in the Yalu River side, the flat lonely, broad vision, the opposite side of the Korean fields, houses at a glance. As a gateway, the site of the Great Wall was located at Hushan, which was indeed of military significance. All times Dandong was invaded by foreign enemies, Hushan bore the brunt of the attacks and was always regarded as a military fortress, which was the first to be attacked. Anyone who knows military affairs knows that occupying the commanding heights is equivalent to controlling the initiative in the battle. It was only natural that the Great Wall should be built at Tiger Mountain. The wise Chinese ancestors, who were under the command of the defense of their country, were not allowed to choose Tiger Mountain as a barrier by their responsibilities, obligations and their own lives. Wang Zhihao, governor of the Ming Dynasty, wrote a poem "Climbing Mount Ma 'er to look at Korea" when he climbed the fortress of Mount Guan Hu.

 

Tiger Mountain covers an area of four square kilometers, the main peak is 146.3m high. The summit is the first fire platform of the Great Wall. You can see Uiju City in North Korea, Sarju City in Masi, China, and the Yalu River Bridge connecting Dandong and Sinuiju from the podium.

The planned Tiger Mountain is surrounded by green water, the Great Wall on the mountain is undulating, and the yachts around the mountain lake shuttle directly to the Yalu River. The green trees, mountains and flowers contrast with the lake, and the scenery is like the surface. There will be a folk village, border trade market, Great Wall museum and food street. Approved by the state, the restoration of the Hushan Great Wall has been more than 730 meters long. Soon the tour road along the river will direct to the Tiger Mountain scenic area, from the city to the Tiger Mountain only ten minutes to reach. In the future, Tiger Mountain will be a tourist area with sightseeing, entertainment, vacation and scientific research.

 

2. Yalu River Scenic Area is a national key scenic area approved by The State Council in 1988. It is located in the lower reaches of the Yalu River, between Hunjiang Estuary and Daedonggang, across the river from Pyitong, Shimizu, Uiju and Sinuiju of North Korea, with a total length of 210 kilometers and an area of 824.2 square kilometers. It is composed of more than 100 scenic spots of six scenic spots, namely Nok River, Suipoong, Taiping Bay, Hushan, Daji and Gangkou. It is famous at home and abroad for its beautiful natural scenery, cultural landscape, unique geographical location and superior environmental quality. It is a river scenic spot integrating the scenery of the two countries, paying tribute to the historical relics, enjoying holidays, scientific investigation and exotic tourism.

 

Zi Water called the Han Horse, Tang began to call the Yalu River, because of the dark green water such as duck head named. It is 2300 meters above sea level at the southern foot of Baekdu Mountain, the main peak of Changbai Mountain. On the flow through the mountains, steep slope flow, valley width 50 ~ 150 meters. Swim from Linjiang below, turn to the southwest, the slope becomes slow, the width of the valley 200 ~ 2000 meters. Downstream since the water is abundant below, the valley is expanded, both sides of the low hills and narrow plain, the heart of the river more sandbars. There are nearly 200 islands in the river, the largest of which is Wen 'an Beach. The river near Dandong is 5 kilometers wide and flows into the Yellow Sea in two branches at Donggou, with a total length of 795 kilometers and a drainage area of 63,788 square kilometers, about half of which is in China. The river system is developed, tributaries are controlled by structure, and most of them are in direct contact with the main stream. The main tributaries in the north are Hunjiang River, Pushi River and □ River, and the main tributaries in the south are Bucheon River, Jangjin River, Durojiang and Chungmanjiang River. The climate of the whole basin is cool and wet, with coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest mainly distributed in red pine and maple birch, and oak forest in the lower reaches. There are many kinds of wild animals and plants. The sediment content and sediment transport of river water are small. Yalu River flows through Changbai Mountain, the valley is steep, narrow, large, hydraulic resources of 2.3 million kilowatts.

 

3. Huangzishan Volcanic Forest Park is located in the crater zone in the western part of Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County, eastern Liaoning Province, covering an area of 20 square kilometers. There are three scenic spots, namely Volcano, Lihua Village and Xuanwu Lake, which are perfectly formed.

 

The Yellow Chair Mountain is famous for its volcanoes. It is surrounded by hills and peaks after the Quaternary volcanic eruption. Here, volcanic rocks are all over the place in different shapes; Volcanic underground spring gushing four seasons, murmuring; Xuanwu Lake overlapping Liancheng Zhang; Forest and wild interest, rural cottages, lake light moonlight shadow, clear water canoe, let a person leisurely. It can be described as a pleasant land in the suburbs of the city of Kuandian, an oasis.

 

Volcanic Cone scenic spot for the leisure area, here not only the famous Jiyuan pagoda and ancient temple bells, there are a variety of recreational projects, it is the city park as the main tone, is a good place for people to amuse themselves.

 

One kilometer west along the water mountain cone, came to the silver green wrapped pear village scenic spot, the idyllic scenery here is really charming, such as the spring garden, pear flower like snow. Orchards, medicine gardens and small vegetable gardens are well organized. The farm yard here is hidden in the honeysuckle green trees, every smoke continuously, the farm is emitting the farm flavor of the vegetable fragrance. Every golden autumn, everywhere can smell the fragrance of fruits. The large kang of the farmhouse is crowded with tourists from all over the world. The sound of car pipes, shouts and laughter ripples in this Xanadu garden.

 

Down the slope from Lihua Village, overlooking the faint and clear water, light waves rafting, lake and mountains, looking up at the basalt like gold as green on both sides of the river, nature's uncanny craftsmanship, created such a marvelous place, it is daunting and amazing. Upstream for the river, downstream for the lake, here is a good place to enjoy the stone splashing, rafting, swimming, fishing.
